Our volunteers are our lifeblood. You are the reason our guests feel welcomed, nurtured, and included. Please consider volunteering at our meal service. Our committed volunteers help serve meals to our senior diners. They also maintain connections with our senior diners and make the dining experience for them more welcoming and meaningful. Choose from dining room set up, client registration, hosting, or serving in either our South Palo Alto location at Stevenson House or our Downtown location at the First United Methodist Church. Being a volunteer is a great way to connect with others and give back to your community. We are grateful for your generous, tax-deductible donations. They pay for kitchen staff, rent, supplies, and ingredients, allowing our staff and volunteers to serve tens of thousands of warm, healthy meals to our senior community each year. 59 percent of clients are over 75 years of age and 54 percent are low income. For many, the meal they get at La Comida is the only one in which they’ll get their recommended daily dietary allowance. Please give generously by clicking here.
