Once you fill out our <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/YlH0ctTOoX4bcuIR2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">volunteer form<\/a> and indicate your desired volunteer schedule, we will reach out to you to confirm. If you require verification of your volunteer hours, let us know and we&#8217;ll gladly sign off on your work.<\/p>\n<h3>Age Requirements<\/h3>\n<p>All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age unless accompanied by an adult 21 years or over. This is for your safety and the safety of our diners.<\/p>\n<h3>Attire<\/h3>\n<p>Because safety is our main concern, we ask that you dress comfortably with closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or work shoes. Please wear clothing that will allow you to move freely and not interfere with serving food. If you have long hair, please pull it back and use a hairnet. Please also wear plastic or rubber gloves if you are handling food or serving diners. Some of our diners are sensitive to odors, so we would appreciate if you would refrain from wearing perfume or using heavily-scented soaps.<\/p>\n<h3>Volunteer Rules<\/h3>\n<p>Because we work in close quarters, we need to be extra respectful and careful. Please enter and exit the kitchen through the correct door and do not run. Smoking in the kitchen or dining room is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n<h3>Groups<\/h3>\n<p>If you are part of a group, the group leader should confirm arrival and departure times as well as the number of group members &#8211; as well as check in and check out &#8211; with La Comida personnel.<\/p>\n<h3>Can&#8217;t Make It?<\/h3>\n<p>If you cannot make a scheduled time, please inform La Comida personnel at <a href=\"mailto:manager@lacomida.org\" rel=\"noopener\">manager@lacomida.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for volunteering at La Comida.
